Who We Are
LPC Group Berhad
LPC Group Berhad is an investment holding company listed on the LEAP Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. Through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Lai Pau Construction Sdn Bhd, the Group is principally engaged in the provision of construction services, specialising in both infrastructure works and building works.
Lai Pau was incorporated in 1987 by Ching Ah Lai and Datuk Liem Ah Pau to carry out construction services — the company's name "Lai Pau" was derived from both their names. Operating primarily in Melaka, the Group has grown into one of the state's most established construction firms.
As a registered CIDB G7 contractor, LPC Group is capable of undertaking construction projects of unlimited contract values in Malaysia. With more than 30 years of proven excellence, the Group has successfully completed over 400 contracts.

Our Journey
History & Milestones
From a small construction firm in 1987 to a publicly listed company — our journey of growth and excellence.
Foundation
Lai Pau Construction Sdn Bhd was incorporated by Ching Ah Lai and Datuk Liem Ah Pau to carry out construction services in Melaka.
Early Growth
Focused on infrastructure works such as drainage works and small-scale building works including construction, renovation, extension and remedial works for schools and various buildings.
Building Expansion
Began undertaking larger building construction projects in Melaka, starting with 27 units of medium-cost terrace houses at Taman Krubong, followed by 14 units of shophouses at Taman Bukit Beruang.
Major Milestone
Secured our largest project at that time — the extension and retrofitting of the Jaya Jusco shopping centre in Melaka. This landmark project elevated our capabilities and reputation.
Next Generation Leadership
Ching Tai Kuen and Liem Seng Leong, sons of the original founders, joined the company and progressively assumed leadership roles, driving the company's growth.
Geographic Expansion
Completed our first two projects in Negeri Sembilan for infrastructure works, marking our expansion beyond Melaka.
Landmark Township Project
Secured our first major township infrastructure works project for drainage works and construction of detention ponds for the 650-acre Bandar Botani Parkland in Jasin. Also completed our first project in Johor.
Record Contract Value
Awarded our first project exceeding RM40.0 million in contract value for the construction of 189 units of terrace houses in Bukit Katil, Melaka.
Industrial Breakthrough
Secured our first large-scale industrial building works project for the construction of 50 units of double-storey semi-detached factories in Tanjung Minyak, Melaka.

LPC Group Berhad was incorporated as the investment holding company. Listed on the LEAP Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.

Ching Tai Kuen
Director
A Promoter, substantial shareholder and Director of LPC Group Berhad. He oversees the Group's overall strategic directions and business development jointly with Liem Seng Leong. He joined Lai Pau in 2005 as a Project Executive and was instrumental in the success of the Group with the completion of notable projects such as Jusco Peringgit Jaya, World Youth Foundation Complex, Wisma Persekutuan MITC Melaka, Limbongan-Klebang Coastal Highway and Bandar Botani Parkland.
Liem Seng Leong
Director
A Promoter, substantial shareholder and Director of LPC Group Berhad. He oversees the Group's overall strategic directions and business development jointly with Ching Tai Kuen. He began his career as a Site Supervisor at Lai Pau in 2004, responsible for overseeing construction sites and managing material procurement. He was pivotal in fostering strong relationships with customers and driving business growth.
